Two Weeks Off
Reconstruction Project

*****

Present projects are located in the fishing villages of Dadalla (4 km from Galle), Mahamodera (2 km from Galle), and Pettigalawatta (1 km from Galle). Global Crossroad has been asked by the Sri Lankan government to build 42 homes in these three villages.

Volunteers stay in a local hotel or guest house located approximately 3 km from central Galle. Volunteers will share a room (2 volunteers in one room) and share a bathroom. Most have been staying at the Tiny House and say the conditions are favorable.  No hot water but a few have said the cool shower will be welcomed at the end of a long and very hot day.
